Privacy notice (short version)

  • We keep your email, your WhatsApp number if you gave it, and your answers to the questions.
  • We use them to tell you when the app is ready, to invite you to an interview if you said yes, and to count how many people need the app. We never sell your data.
  • The data is stored by Cloudflare, our hosting provider.
  • We keep it until 12 months after the app launches, or until you ask us to delete it.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by email. You can also complain to the CNPD, Portugal's data protection authority.

Who is responsible

FALÉSIA DA MAGNÓLIA - UNIPESSOAL LDA (NIPC 517885042), Lisbon, Portugal ("Pronto A2", "we") is the controller of your personal data. Contact: developer@getvoolo.com.

What we collect

  • Waitlist form: your email; your WhatsApp number if you give it; the page language; the language you want lessons in; why you need Portuguese; your exam plan; the area where you live (optional); whether you would pay the planned price; whether we may invite you to an interview; the link tag you arrived from (for example ?ref=gurdwara); the date and the version of this notice you agreed to.
  • Voice test sessions (only in person, only with your consent): your recording is sent to Microsoft Azure Speech to calculate pronunciation scores. We do not store the recording. We keep the scores, the recognised text, your first language, how long you have lived in Portugal (as a range), a teacher's rating, whether you found the score fair, and an anonymous code. We do not keep your name with these results.
  • Technical data: our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. We use no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use the data to tell you when the app is ready, to invite you to an interview if you agreed, and to measure how many people need the app and what they need. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what we did before.

Who processes the data for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and database). The database is stored in the European Union. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd (Azure Speech, Europe region), only for voice test sessions.

We never sell your data and we do not share it with employers, schools or authorities.

How long we keep it

Waitlist data: until 12 months after the app launches, or until you ask us to delete it. Voice test results: until we finish the pronunciation study, and at most 12 months; after that we keep only totals that cannot identify anyone.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to limit how we use it, or to withdraw your consent, by writing to the contact above. You can also complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt.

Age

The waitlist and voice tests are for people aged 16 or older.
